Grant Length: 10 months.
To best align with the Honduran academic calendar, grants will begin Spring 2027. Grants should begin between February 1 and February 15.
ETAs should plan to attend a mandatory briefing at the U.S. Embassy upon arrival.
Orientation

What is life like for Fulbrighters in the host country?
Applicants are expected to research their host country. Application materials should indicate a clear commitment to the host country community and a description of how you will engage with it.
Fulbrighters typically get very involved and volunteer in their communities. Many enjoy teaching English and participating in cultural events. It is also important that Fulbrighters to Honduras be open-minded and feel comfortable dealing with potential bureaucracy within the host institution.
